A New Year (Or Decade?) is a Time for New Resolutions
When you approach a new year as fascinating as 2020, it’s difficult not to get excited. With all the hubbub about the new decade (although it’s not a new decade, according to the Farmers’ Almanac), we decided we’d banter a bit about what the New Year means for us here at Think Tank.
While our business goals remain big – being named the Best Marketing Firm and Best PR Firm in St. Louis for the 10th year in a row, to win ADDY awards and other industry awards, to get our documentary into the Sundance Film Festival, to become a more integral part of our St. Louis community – our personal goals tend to be a little more fun.
Throughout the month of January, we’ll be sharing our pics and resolutions on social media, so be sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter and share yours with us as well. Oh, and P.S. – do you think it’s the new decade in 2020 or 2021? We have an internal debate going around here!
Happy New Year!
My New Year’s resolution is to learn everything I need to know about living an eco-friendly life and then start putting that information into practice. My New Year’s resolution is to drink more water! My New Year’s resolution is to join a local community and church with my fiancée before we get married in the summer of 2020. My New Year’s resolutions are to pet more sharks and eat less fast food! My New Year’s resolution is to sanitize my phone weekly and delegate more chores to the kids. My New Year’s resolution is to be less wasteful. My New Year’s resolution is to create more things. More personal design work, more selfies (I never do this), more videos for that YouTube channel I keep telling myself I’ll start eventually. My New Year’s resolution is to learn how to do one stunning somersault. My New Year’s resolutions are to be more grateful for the things in life I have been blessed with and let go of the things that are negative. I have a personal and professional goal to produce a video worthy of winning an Emmy Award. My passion has always been photography and filmmaking, and this year I am focused on being the best version of myself in those fields as I can and being more creative than I have ever been. My New Year’s resolution is to submit to film competitions and get my new band off the ground. My New Year’s resolutions are to:
Befriend at least one crow
Give the crunchiest looking leaf to a turkey vulture to munch
Get kissed by a wolf
Make raspberry scones from scratch without starting a fire
Continue creating fanart for fandoms that are still infinitesimally small
Beat Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the fourth time (on Master Mode)My New Year’s resolution is for Think Tank to win an Emmy and to be written up in Adweek. (Oh, and to enroll in yoga teacher training and learn transcendental meditation on my off-time!) My New Year’s resolutions are to:
Try out one new hobby
Travel to two new places
Read twelve physical booksMy New Year’s resolution is to go viral on TikTok. 😂
