Chaumette Vineyard & Winery
social media + video production + public relations + earned media + email marketing + SEO + media buying + website maintenance + print design
Chaumette Vineyard & Winery hired Think Tank in 2019 with a specific mission: make us a must-see destination and bring us revenue.
We started with reimagining the brand and refreshing its image. Chaumette had recently experienced some unfavorable press and was also suffering due to newer wineries and breweries opening in the area. Our mission was to make them stand out from the crowd and make them, once again, a destination.

We went to work revamping their brand image, on their SEO and social strategies, and made a huge push to garner them not only local press but national press – landing them in the likes of Forbes and Conde Nast.
When COVID hit in early 2020 the ownership of Chaumette became worried about the business. When they laid off more than 80% of their staff we immediately went to work to pivot the business – implementing campaigns touting Chaumette’s state-of-the-art cleaning protocols and compelling people to get out of the house for a ‘staycation’. We also started pivoting the winery as a place to safely elope and do small weddings within COVID restrictions. In addition to these strategies, we promoted wine sales by the case and picnic baskets for pickup that you could enjoy on the property safely during
the height of COVID.

Recently Chaumette Vineyard & Winery were added to Harvest Hosts and have been written up nationally as a “must see” Midwestern destination by Condé Nast.

Chaumette went from potentially having the worst year imaginable to the very best year in the winery’s history.
They brought back all their employees and hired more. Once business was back to usual, we began revamping all of Chaumette’s wedding materials and campaigns as we continue to pivot the business and promote it as a national destination.
