Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kevin often says he was born with Ninja in his blood. Intrigued with all things creative, Kevin started honing his craft as a child when he first picked up a pencil and started sketching. From there his creative talents flourished into drawing, photography, and all things art – including a stint as the lead guitarist in an LA punk rock band.
Kevin’s experience is broad – encompassing corporate branding and messaging, uber-famous band photography (photographing bands such as The All-American Rejects, Bret Michaels, Luke Bryan, Chevelle, Anberlin, Bon Jovi and many more), and he has certainly piled up a ton of accolades throughout his career. Kevin is known for looking at things from a different perspective – especially when capturing the absolute essence of what he is photographing.
Aside from being a ridiculous overachiever, Kevin has other lesser known talents and hobbies. His greatest passion outside of photography and creating art is pursuing large, and often dangerous, saltwater fish with a fly rod. That’s right, while most people use a fly rod for catching trout he uses it to catch dangerous things like shark and tarpon.
Kevin can also be found doing less dangerous things in his spare time like hiking, shooting trap and skeet, woodworking, making handmade frames for his photographs, painting, sculpting…oh, and practicing his nun-chuck skills, of course.
